Stu’s Inspawrations…

Stuart Simons talks to friends who have inspired him throughout his life about all sorts but including the one thing that they all have in common, their love of dogs!

Episode 1:

Ocho is Eight in Italian with Kerry Ellis

Stu talks to the wonderful Queen of the West End and Broadway, the amazing Kerry Ellis.

Kerry and Stu go way back and pretty much started their careers together. They quickly realised all those years ago that they both had one true love in common and that true love was dogs!

Here they reminisce and talk about what pet ownership is like when coupled with working hard and also about the difficulties that the lock downs have brought us and how dogs have made it just that little bit better!

Stuart is joined by the fabulous Maria McErlane of Eurotrash and Grill Graham (Radio 2 Graham Norton Show) fame. They talk about all manor of things including Poodles, a tooth pulling DJ and how beach life can help with the covid blues.

Stu talks to world renowned dancer/choreographer/director Lizzi Gee about her career, her gorgeous family, lockdown and most importantly the new addition to their family, lovely little Baxter!

Goodness only knows what her 3 boys will have in store for her in the future. Its great to see a really happy family enjoying their time with the new pooch of the house.

From winning Opportunity Knocks in 1990,  his love of his Bully breeds to saving lives in 999 on the front line for Ch4, his life choices are so varied and fascinating.

He has a lovely husband called Coleman and a gorgeous little dog called Jigsaw (who we forgot to mention in this pod)
Colin also gives his views on creative grooming and responsible grooming within the dog grooming industry.

Tootsie, Winnie and the cost of a good cleaner with Ruthie Henshall

Stu chats all things fabulous with Theatre Icon Ruthie Henshall.
Ruthie is a massive dog lover and talks about how she copes raising her family and dealing with the dog when treading the boards.
Stu did a Stephen Sondheim musical called Passion with Ruthie which she produced and Starred in.
She is one of the worlds really genuinely lovely people who doesn’t take herself or her life too seriously. Just an absolute pleasure to be around. So refreshing!
